Adult sibling conflict - shame, emotional pain, or potential for growth?

‍No-one likes conflict.   Adult conflict with siblings can be emotionally painful, or perhaps after a period of time it can be something that we come to accept or at least live with.  Adult sibling conflict can also be a source of shame.  We look at other seemingly happy families and wonder why we can’t be like this. Even though we don’t fully know what is happening in other’s worlds, nor do we know what others have been through when we make these comparisons. We also may come out of the experience of sibling conflict with increased insight and personal growth, as we seek to understand ourselves and others better.

‍Our next Webinar will wrestle with these complexities as we seek to dis-entangle grief and conflict in this context.  We will seek to summarise and provide context to the different dimensions of grief, how conflict and grief get dis-entangled, and provide a pathway out.

‍ It is important to note, if you attend any of our webinars, you will be anonymous, in that the only people who will know you are present are us as the presenters.  Your comments will come to the presenters only, and we will read the comments without naming you. No-one will see you either. We have found this method works well in enabling people to relax and engage with the content.

‍We look forward to welcoming you soon!
