How to navigate difficult conversations at Christmas.

What to Expect

A Christmas prayer to prepare for difficult conversations

As the year draws to a close, please join us for our final webinar of the year, where we will look at “peace on earth and good will towards people” in a practical way.

It is possible, perhaps even probable, that there might be people in our lives that we are currently having or will need to have difficult conversations with.

How do Christian people prepare themselves for difficult conversations, and how might they approach this in prayer before these conversations?

Our 2026 webinars focused on navigating conflict in various areas - post separation parenting, navigating property settlements, dealing with sibling conflict, dealing with issues around the care of an older person, dealing with the impact of perfectionism in relationships, plus grief and its impact on couple relationships. Based on our learnings and interactions from our attendees, we will also draw on research, scriptural insights and lived experience interviews to suggest a prayer and will invite you to join along at that time. or in your own later time.

The objectives of the webinar are to:

  • To combine learnings from research, lived experience interviews and professional experience into a prayer in preparation difficult conversations at Christmas or any other times

  • To pray this prayer today, and to provide this as a resource that can contribute to more peaceful relationships if used appropriately.

  • To provide this resource for people of Christian faith and/or others if they are interested and to represent an approach that is consistent with most Christian faith traditions.

Details: Friday 18 December | 8:00 pm Australia Eastern Standard Daylight savings time.
